The idea of our Gourmet Tour is to give you the possibility to taste typical Dalmatian delicacies such as prosciutto ham, cheese, olives and olive oil. You will taste different home-made island prosciutto hams, special kinds of cow and sheep's cheese, home-made olives, carpaccio and marinade of fish and sea fruits, island lamb with vegetables from the garden made under the bell (the so-called peka), freshly caught first-class grilled fish, gregada (a dish typical of the Island of Hvar made of different kinds of fish boiled with potato) and brodetto (fish stew), inkfish risotto, Adriatic shrimps, octopus stew, stewed clams... Shortly, dishes under the bell or barbeque, as well as different specialities made of sea fruits typical of the Dalmatian island cuisine. It would be a great pity not to accompany such delicacies with high-quality-wines. Grape vines were brought to these islands by old Greeks and Romans. Rich sun and fertile soil were excellent conditions for the development of numerous autochthonous wine grapes. Our tour will include the visit to the islands of Vis, Hvar and Brač as well as the visit to some of the most distinguished Croatian winemakers. Family households and taverns will offer you only home-made products and you will have the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful sceneries and views, and warm welcome of our hosts... Shortly - you will enjoy a 7-day GOURMENT TOUR on board of a new Elan 434 Impression.
